Wardrobes

The project's aim was to rejuvenate a set of built-in wardrobes dating back to the 1970s. The original off-white melamine finish had worn out, losing its appeal and looking outdated.
Commencing with a thorough cleaning using sugar soap to eliminate decades of wear, the first step was to restore the wooden mouldings to match the original design closely. Following this, a specialist primer capable of adhering to melamine was applied. Once dry, three coats of Dulux Brilliant White Satinwood paint were meticulously applied.
The finishing touch involved the addition of classic brushed brass door knobs, elevating the overall aesthetic.
The outcome delighted the client, who now enjoys wardrobes with a refreshed, modern appearance and enhanced durability.
